Watching Paint Dry

OBJECTIVE

This game is not designed to be fun; it is designed to be a way for people to waste time. The object of this game is to see how long you are able to watch the paint dry. There will be a timer that starts once the first coat of paint has been applied and stops once the player has either refused to choose a new paint color once the paint has dried, or has hit the stop button. The times are then loaded on to a leader board and the player will be able to add his or her name if they so choose.

In my experience the challenge of this game will be for those who strive to be at the top of the leader board. To make this fair we will make sure that the timer stops once the player has left the page that the game is on, whether by moving the page to the background, the computer has gone into the screen saver, or the player has left the page all together.

The game will feature the different types of paint finishes, these are Flat, Satin, Gloss, and Semi-Gloss. The differences in these paint types will be the most apparent once the paint dries. The most noticeable difference will be between the Flat paint and the Gloss paint.
